Summary:
The Quality Control (QC) Scientist is responsible for being the subject matter expert (SME) for all QC laboratory activities.
This person has direct oversight on all testing and duties performed in the QC lab, in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
This person will also serve as the SME for QC data analysis and decisions on analytical testing.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

Manage all QC testing activities.
This includes HPLC testing, testing of analytical attributes (i.
e.
, pH, viscosity, etc.
), and automated rapid microbial testing.
Perform any necessary data analysis and trending for all QC datasets.
Perform out-of-service investigations for failed testing and equipment.
Manage routine maintenance for QC lab equipment.
Manage all QC-related documentation.
This includes procedure documents, testing reports, and documented datasets.
Collaborate with other Quality functions to ensure that QC lab activities are completed in accordance with any necessary regulatory requirements.
Skills and
Qualifications:
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific discipline, and at least two years related experience and or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) NetSuite experience preferred (ERP experience required) Physical Demands:
