Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently - Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries - Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales - Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area - Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately - Assist with food handling and preparation as needed - Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service to all guests - Perform basic math calculations for bill totals and change
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude - Excellent guest relations skills to provide a memorable dining experience - Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell menu items - Basic knowledge of culinary terminology and menu items - Willingness to help out in other areas of the restaurant as needed Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications.
