Known to receive prestigious accreditations and recognition in a multitude of specialty designations for excellence in medicine and healthcare, the hospital offers a full complement of services, including newly opened fitness and health institution, maternity department, cancer program, advanced primary stroke center and spine and joint program.
The hospital is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and a STEMI Receiving Center, as well as part of the Los Angeles County Disaster Resource Center (DRC) network.

Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for women before, during and after delivery of the baby based on HMNH's policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that the nursing as well as the emotional needs of the patient are adequately met throughout the entire birthing process.
Licensure and Certification:
Current CA RN license Current BLS, and ACLS provider cards Current NRP provider card Advance AWHONN fetal monitoring certification Education:
Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
Experience:
2 years recent L&D experience National certification in specialty preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Circulation in C-Section recovery room experience Knowledge of Baby friendly initiatives with supporting education documentation Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Critical thinking skills Problem solving skills Basic computer skills Job Type:
