We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks.
Accounting Clerk responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements.
You will run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts.
A successful Accounting Clerk should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers.
Ultimately, a successful Accounting Clerk will ensure that the company's daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.
Skills Proven accounting experience Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures Good math skills An ability to organize and process large amounts of information Attention to detail High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Ability to work independently with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment High school degree
Responsibilities:
Provide accounting support to the company Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements Reconcile accounts in a timely manner Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database for recording purposes Provide assistance or support in connection with daily or weekly deadlines Research, track and restore lost or destroyed documents or records Perform office duties like filing, answering phones, greeting clientele etc.
