We are Third Party Administrators who handle a wide variety of property and casualty insurance programs.
We are looking for a detail oriented, self-starter to join our Administrative team.
JOB
Responsibilities:
- Type and proofread a variety of documents including reports, letters, memos, rough drafts, forms, copy, and notes; - Perform a wide variety of routine administrative work including filing, billing, checking and recording information on records; - Compile information and data for statistical and financial reports; - Ongoing communications with third parties; - Answer the telephone and wait on the general public, giving information on department policies and procedures as directed; - Assist in the training of new personnel; - Review incoming correspondence and properly handle per Company policy; - Keep track of time spent on different projects and record time daily; and - Other related duties may also be performed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Moderate to excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Knowledge of proper English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Review and format spreadsheets of varying size and complexity.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Able to communicate effectively via email, phone, and letters.
- Self-starter and able to work independently.
- Able to learn office methods, procedures, and policies with ease and retain the information.
- Attention to detail.
- Computer savvy.
- Work as a team member.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
