Large Format Printing Operator Location:
Valencia, California
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Large Format Printing Operator to join our team in Valencia, California.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital printing processes, a proven track record in operating HP S1000 Dye Sublimation and HP Latex printers or similar, experience with Caldera RIP software, and knowledge of dye sublimation and Summa or Zund flatbed cutter technology.
Responsibilities:
Operate HP S1000, HP Latex and Mimaki printers to produce high-quality large format prints, including banners, posters, and trade show graphics, using dye sublimation, latex and UV technology Maintain and troubleshoot printers as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Prepare files for printing using Caldera RIP software, including color correction, scaling, and layout.
Use a Summa flatbed cutter.
Manage inventory of supplies, including ink and media.
Perform quality control checks on all printed materials to ensure they meet our high standards.
Package finished products for shipping or delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow established procedures and quality control standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating HP S1000 and HP Latex printers or similar machines Experience with Caldera RIP software.
Knowledge of digital printing processes, including dye sublimation technology.
Experience with flatbed cutter or router technology Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
