This is a part time, hourly position, in the office.
Pay range of $17.
50-$19.
00 per hour based on education & experience.
PART-TIME 12-20 hours per week DUTIES -Ensures employee credentials are up to date, entered with extreme attention to detail in eRSP and filed electronically in employee files.
(Including but not limited to CDL, Car Insurance, 1st Aid/CPR/AED) -Assists with DocuSign requests of staff, follow-up with staff, entered in eRSP and filed electronically in employee files.
(Including but not limited to Client Rights, Emergency Consent to Treatment and Harassment in the Workplace) -Assists with scheduling employee training for 1st Aide, CPR/AED certification and skill evaluations and/or become a certified skill evaluator and administer skill evaluations.
-Answer phones, transfer calls to the individuals requested and/or take messages and promptly text the message to the individual, check messages, check fax machine -Greet visitors and Accept deliveries and put away or get item(s) to the recipient -Open and sort mail, distributing as appropriate -Filing:
Personnel, Consumer, office operation documents physically and/or electronically as directed -Prepare and copy materials for MANDT Training, Staff distribution, Job Fairs, Board Meetings, other trainings, or meetings as needed -Copy and maintain typical forms as needed including application packets, brochures etc.
physically and electronically -Collect, Review and Improve ISP grammar and upload to consumer files -Attend training and conferences as requested -Oversee/Coach Job Coaches for supported Avenues employees -Maintain Employee Phone list in Google format -Scan and file electronically as needed -Providing intake and assignment of training for volunteers.
-Ensuring that Thank you notes and donation letters go out to donors, families, etc.
-Maintain office files (contracts, fishing licenses, insurances, business paperwork, etc.
) -Organizing and filing IHSS notices of hours (Physically and Electronically) -Represent Avenues at community events as needed -Help maintain a clean, organized and well stocked office (kitchen, bathroom and common areas) -Other duties or projects as assigned by Office Manager, Director of Operations or Executive Director -Checking and calculating mileage and/or oversee staff mileage -Other projects as designated by the Executive Director, Director of Operations and/or Office Manager Requirements:
EDUCATION/
Experience:
High School Diploma (Associate Degree preferred), plus 2 years relevant office and clerical experience.
Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is a plus.
Must possess a valid California driver's license, maintain proper insurance and be insurable under Avenues Insurance.
Must complete and pass Avenues Orientation and Mandt Training Certification within the first 90 days of employment.

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be a team player and possess the ability to keep themselves and others organized.
Must be detail oriented, possess an excellent work ethic and be able to determine or ask which tasks are the most important in a given list.
Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, support staff, people we support, family members, funding source representatives, community members and other generic community services & customers.
Must be able to collaborate with other administrators and support personnel, management, and clients on a regular basis patiently and effectively.
Ability to work independently and in groups to competently problem solve conflicts and crisis situations; has knowledge of or ability to seek available resources for persons with disabilities.
Should be multi-task oriented, always display professional conduct, be interested in personal and professional growth, comfortable and effective working within a team process and understand organization culture and values.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as an essential part of job duties and responsibilities, including when interfacing with the people we support, their families, support staff and other team members, supervisors, our funding sources, medical professionals, and other community members.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Apps preferred.
Experience with DocuSign and/or eRSP a plus.
REQUIRED:
Valid Driver's license; current automobile insurance, first aid training; CPR training; DMV report; and fingerprint clearance (Livescan).
