Shield HealthCare is looking for a Distribution Coordinator at our Valencia Corporate Office.
This position is responsible for coordinating the administrative duties associated with a high-volume shipping operation.
This position may also include shipping and receiving as well as mail clerk functions as required.
JOB
Responsibilities:
Complete and/or Coordinate workflow in the Administration Area of the Distribution Center Daily sorting of orders and directing orders to pick areas Answer inbound calls for customer service and centers and handle internal requests Manage printers and ensure orders are processed in a timely manner Arrange processing of all 'will call' orders and coordinate with Customer Service for customer pick ups Ship confirm all manually processed orders including back orders, credit card and COD orders.
Pre-authorize and charge credit card orders Keying in SPC orders in Core2 to correct ship confirmation errors Research and attach prescription documents for pharmacy orders.
Facilitate all facility maintenance requests Schedule all pick up and return requests as needed Run and work the unshipped order report daily Run the Order Management Tool daily and keep management team advised on upcoming order flow Process orders for items where serial number is tracked Miscellaneous projects as assigned by management Help with picking or packing of customer orders when workflow dictates.
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Ability to learn basis functions of AS400, SQL, Microsoft Access, Epicor, and Clippership TMS Attention to detail Good math skills Good communication skills Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds Valid California driver's license (formal duties) SALARY &
