This role is contract to hire Schedule:
6am - 6pm Monday - Friday Essential Functions Perform dimensional inspections on machined parts and assemblies using precision measuring tools of various types.
Inspectors interpret the requirements for the parts/assemblies they are inspecting that are communicated via blueprints, specifications drawings and/or standards provided by customers or the organization's engineering department.
Inspectors will perform visual inspections of product verifying characteristics that can be evaluated visually.
Inspectors will be expected to document the results of their inspections via various reporting formats/methods and warrant these results by means of their Quality Stamp.
Inspectors will verify the accuracy and completeness of product documentation.

Inspectors are expected to perform other reasonable duties as assigned by their supervisors.
Specifications Some Inspectors need to have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as decimals, fractions, length, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, etc.
Some Inspectors must be able to apply concepts of basic geometry and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Many Inspectors must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings, specifications and standards.
Most Inspectors must be able to use mechanical measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, computers, hardness and conductivity measurement tools, surface plate set-up and layout, etc.
Many Inspectors must be able to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, planning, work instructions and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality standards and complete QA documents.
Many Inspectors must be able to select products for inspection and tests at specified stages in production processes, and inspect products for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, mechanical, electrical or chemical characteristics.
Some Inspectors must be able to record and evaluate inspection reports, test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
Knowledge of ASME Y14.
5 and ANSI/ASQC Z1.

All Inspectors must be willing and able to work in a team environment and must have good interpersonal skills.
The position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, carry that 40 lbs.
