Responsibilities:
Must be able to work and do set ups with limited supervision and perform a variety of machine operations utilizing CNC or manual machining utilizing hone skills to form work pieces to specifications by performing the following duties.
- Perform a variety of honing, or related operations to close and interrelated tolerances.
- Review set up sheet and specifications to determine machining sequence and dimensions of finished work pieces.
- Perform set up and diversified operations on CNC hones and comprehend work instructions.
- Measures work pieces for conformance to specification both b/p and work order prior to submitting the part for a 1st part verification.
- Notifies supervisor of discrepancies and assist in RCCA activities.
REQUIRED
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent in work experience; (3-5 yrs).
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, Blue prints and procedure manuals. Ability to write notes for between shift tie ins.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic Algebra and Trigonometry.
EDUCATION:
High Scholl diploma or GED
WORK HOURS:
2nd shift
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
