Right now, were hiring a Senior Project Engineer in Valencia. This management position leads a team of engineers from inception to completion of design projects with FAA/EASA regulatory approval. Some travel is required.

Interface with customers and conduct ITCM, PDR, and CDR.
Be well versed in Solid Works and proficient with software applications that allow the development of forms, reports, charts, and presentations.
Design, develop, and validate aircraft components and systems.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for customers.
Author technical test plans, reports, and analysis.
Control project plan and recommend actions by reviewing changes in schedule, design, and specifications.
Prepare technical data for regulatory presentation.
Determine project responsibilities and assign personnel by identifying project phases and elements.
Manage engineering project team, project schedule, and budget.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Before we welcome you onboard, heres how well know you have what it takes:
You have a bachelors degree in either mechanical or electrical engineering with at least five years of experience in the aerospace industry; FAA and EASA regulatory experience is preferred.
You have at least two years of experience using Solid Works and at least two years in a management position overseeing others.
You have advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Access).
