REVENUE ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Search Group specializes in recruiting professional talent. We are currently seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager for a leading and growing firm.

The Revenue Accounting Manager will be responsible for the management of all revenue-related accounting activities including revenue recognition, revenue contract accounting, revenue accounting-related systems and processes, department supervision, customer invoicing, insurance claims filing, collections management, and preparation of relevant management and financial reports.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
Manages the Company's revenue recognition, including revenue contracts, customer invoicing, accounts receivable, insurance billing, cash collections, and cash forecasting.
Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data regarding revenue.
Reconciles revenues and ensures appropriate revenue/deferred revenue recognition treatment.
Reports monthly revenues by product and regions to Sr. Mgmt. Prepares reconciliations and other relevant reports and schedules at month-end and throughout the normal monthly accounting cycle.
Interacts with the sales team and other departments to help streamline and expedite sales.
Calculates monthly sales commissions.
Creates system and process enhancements and efficiencies by leading, promoting efficiencies, accountability, and transparency related to revenue recognition/billing/collection.
Provides direction and training of employees according to established policies and management guidelines.
Able to react to change productively and to perform other essential tasks assigned.

The qualified Revenue Accounting Manager will possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
CPA or MBA preferred.
Six years related experience.
Manager experience required (team of +4).
Medical insurance/billing experience preferred.
Responsible for revenue/billings over $50 million.
Exposure to billing in foreign currency (FAS 52).
Strong computer skills/Microsoft office product skills (especially in Excel).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
