The Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Visual Merchandising Planner who will be responsible for developing and executing optimal merchandising standards across all in-house product categories. Working in a cross-functional environment, you will be responsible for creating and executing the floor plan product layouts and overall visual presentation standards for the on board retail shops.

Spearhead and develop floor plan product placement and general category zones.
Partner with the Buying team to ensure all Floor Plans are updated with merchandise allocations on a bi-yearly basis based on itinerary transitions and shop renovations.
Develop and maintain floor plan zoning layouts to include, core, focal, and feature zones.
Develop and maintain key item and rotator placements.
Accountable for effective Floor Plan execution fleet-wide.
Develop, execute and maintain Visual Manual & Best Practices describing all general merchandising practices across multiple categories of merchandise.
Develop schematics and plan-o-grams describing typical standardized compositions and merchandising practices.
Accountable for effective and consistent merchandise presentation communication across all categories, across the fleet.
Develop & execute distinctive in-store merchandise display concepts, as well as window presentations using applicable visual strategies and relatable shelf trim and props, based on trade (itinerary).
Execute prototypes as needed and communicate multi-ship execution via Visual Directives. Responsible for consistent, effective and brand-right visual strategies across the fleet.
Lead effort with Marketing Coordinator in the development and allocation of all in-store visual graphics including both branded and generic graphic imagery.
Manage and maintain an accurate Visual Catalog outlining all current fixturing and display essentials.
Ensure fleet is equipped with all necessary display componentry.
Partner with Buying offices in the launch of new products, providing direction in applicable and relatable industry merchandising standards; lead execution in partnership with Operations.
Leads the charge in partnership with the Store Planner in the ongoing maintenance and replacement of floor fixturing systems, including fixed furniture, loose (floating) fixtures such as spinners, towers and rotator tables, and seating.
Ensure consistent standards are taught and maintained.
Responsible for effective training and guidance across all staff levels in the adherence of corporate visual presentation guidelines
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
5 + years' experience in corporate visual merchandising ,including presentation planning and development.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe applications.
Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to travel, both domestically as well as internationally, approx. 30%, including occasional visits to the ships.
Ability to occasionally work beyond normal business hours to provide operational support.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
