Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Sr. Manager, Finance & Business Development - Retail and Photo. This leadership role is responsible for helping establish the long-term strategic direction for retail and photo/video.

Identifying, analyzing and ensuring execution of new business opportunities and capital investments to maximize sales and margin performance
Work in partnership and as a trusted thought-leader with the management team and functional heads to inform and influence business strategies
Collaboratively developing deal terms, negotiation plans for new partnerships
Conducting due diligence analysis of financial and operational aspects of proposals and deals
Developing models for deals and ROI's for proposed capital investments
Strategically leading the annual planning process
Providing guidance and thought leadership by analyzing current trends in financial performance and ensuring that these findings are incorporated in the monthly reforecasting process
Developing and delivering effective and timely business analysis and reporting to further support business strategies and operational objectives
Creating compelling, persuasive, clear presentation materials to communicate key learnings and recommendations to senior management team and other functional leaders
Monitoring the month end close process in partnership with Finance and Manager, Corporate Planning
In partnership with Sr. Manager, Operations and Manager, Corporate Planning, developing shipboard and shore-side processes and controls to minimize shrink
BS degree in Finance or related area required. MBA preferred
10+ years of related work experience required. Experience in travel and/or retail industries a plus
Strong leadership abilities
Ability to work effectively with senior executives
Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
Strong problem solving skills such as prioritization, critical thinking and hypothesis development
Ability to think pragmatically, not just theoretically, and drive execution of concepts
Outstanding multi-tasking and teamwork capabilities
Superior verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to develop cogent arguments and present them concisely and persuasively to a range of stakeholders, including executives
Advanced EXCEL and PPT skills
Knowledge of accounting principles

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
