Key Responsibilities
Candidate is responsible for maintaining existing sales and developing new sales in order to meet and exceed the sales revenue budget. Works with personnel within the Application Support Center ("ASC"), product platforms, and technical organizations to identify customer needs and develop solutions to meet those needs. Understands and sells all product platforms: Sealants, Coatings, Semco, Packaging, Surface Solutions, Chemical Management Solutions ("CMS"), and Transparencies. Key responsibilities include:
Proactively defines the business strategy at each customer
Communicates an effective value proposition to the customer
Develops relationships at all key levels and functions within the customer organization
Sells the broad array of PPG Aerospace products; understands and embraces the One Face concept
Reviews and recommends pricing, understand the impact of pricing on profitability, reviews contracts and plays active role in contract negotiations
Grows sales and market share through new business development activities
Stays current on all administrative activities including expense reports and weekly sales reporting
Incumbent will work out of his/her home office or the ASC office.
Experience and Education
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum four (4) years of experience in a Technical Sales, Customer Service, or other Business or Technical role.
Functional and Technical Skills
Must be able to speak, read, write and interpret technical information.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
