Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Facilities Manager - (1717061)

Job Description
DescriptionIn accordance with Q2 Transnational corporate safety and security program, the Senior Environmental, Health and Safety
Facilities Manager will be responsible for the management/implementation of the corporate EHS management system and day-to-day
management of EHS and Facilities policies and programs within a specialized business unit that may contain unique EHS risks.
This position is responsible to oversee EHS programs across this specialized business unit, which may take place within one or more countries,
states or other jurisdictions, to ensure compliance with Q2/Global EHS programs and policies. The Senior EHS and Facilities Management
will also champion projects which may be unique to the specialized business to achieve corporate EHS goals and
Facilities objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overseeing EHS programs within the specialized business unit for multiple sites across several
jurisdictions to ensure compliance with Q2 EHS policies as well as applicable environmental, health
and safety regulatory obligations (e.g. US OSHA, UK HSE, Cal/OSHA).
Ensure corrective actions are implemented at each of the sites and documented in response to corporate, sponsor
and site audits and reviews.
Ensure there are adequate management of environmental, health, and safety resources for within the specialized
business (e.g., safety coordinators, fire wardens, radiation safety officers, trainers) and that they receive the
appropriate training.
Assess EHS programs within the specialized business unit for prioritized risks in line with business objectives
Assist with implementing corrective actions and associated documentation in response to corporate and site
audits/reviews of the site(s)
Maintain a current knowledge to ensure each site within the specialized business unit is compliant with country/state
and local regulations and best practices related to EHS.
Assist with coordinating the appropriate corrective actions taken on health, safety and environmental hazards or
potential hazards in response to internal, customer or other audits and inspections.
Coordinate regulatory compliance and reporting with corresponding agencies which may involve multiple jurisdictions
and varying levels of complexity.
Manage and monitor the overall operation of a facility including buildings, grounds, equipment and services ensuring high
quality with uninterrupted service.
Develop, update and implement site specific policies and procedures.
Approve all facility-related invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
Implement Health & Safety and environmental policies to meet legal requirements.
Manage facilities budget for specific site.
Regularly interface with department heads/Finance/Human Resources to keep up to date on new hires and future space
requirements.
Ensure timely communication to internal customers regarding facilities services, products and information.
Analyze space needs, procure contracts and oversee work for authorized building modifications.
Plan and manage interoffice moves, ensuring that requests are in accordance with agreed plans, efficient coordination
with IT and that site policies are followed.
Ensure that Security, Card Access System and visitor processes are followed per the Security Policies and Procedures.
May manage capital projects, including Capital Allocation Requisition (CAR) preparation, tracking of expenses, permits,
inspections, and completion targets.
Manage staff in accordance with organization's policies and applicable legislation. Responsibilities include planning,
assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining
employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approve actions on human resources
matters, including salary administration.
Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Job Requirements REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience in a multiple-site EHS role across multiple jurisdictions.
Certified Safety Professional and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist (or equivalent certification in country or jurisdiction) or
eligible for certification
Training and experience as a Radiation Safety Officer (required)
Good knowledge of the relevant local EHS regulations, international EHS management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 and
OHSAS 18001) and how they apply to sites and functions within region
Excellent organization and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills (training/presentation, communication)
Working regulatory knowledge and knowledge of environmental and safety laws within multiple jurisdictions
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or safety related field; Certified Safety Professional and or Certified Industrial Hygienist,
or equivalent certification (e.g. Graduate IOSH) and 5 years of relevant experience including in a site EHS role and of
working with regulatory agencies; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech
Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers
Regular sitting for extended periods of time
Ability to travel.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
