Director, Case Management

Serves as the central resource for the Executive Team concerning strategies which are efficient, effective, timely, patient-centered, and support appropriate patient outcomes and financial reimbursement. Provides administrative direction regarding departmental goals, and strategies, staffing issues, performance improvement, budget development, and new programs. Accountable for directing facility-wide functions of utilization management, case/disease management and promotes evidenced based practice. Functions as a liaison between administration, patients, physicians and other health care providers. Collaborates with all disciplines, departments, payers, system partners, vendors, and community agencies to optimize clinical outcomes within best practice. Licensure and Certification: Current California RN License required. Specialty certification(s) in the areas of Case Management and/or Administration is preferred. Education: Bachelor's in Nursing required. Master's degree in related field preferred Experience: A minimum of five (5) years progressive experience in a management or administrative capacity in Case Management or a related specialty. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
