About the Role
This role will be responsible for creating, directing and executing direct to physician marketing activities for the pain franchise for Boston Scientific. This will include product launch as well as continuation marketing of current product offerings to drive above market revenue growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
Become the product expert to serve as a clinical and functional advisor to external and internal customers
Develops relationships with key opinion leaders to help understand how to best drive adoption and awareness of our products
Direct and execute materials and support for assigned products, including new product launch support, presentations, selling materials, technical bulletins, digital campaigns, sales training, advertising, public relations, tradeshows, medical congresses, newsletters and other communication venues
Drive the creation of product and portfolio messaging utilizing cross functional input and feedback, market research, and KOL interactions
Analyze competitive information, & develop sales & marketing strategies and responses to competitive product launches
Use classic marketing capabilities: market understanding, market segmentation, product positioning, message development, channel identification, tool and communication creation and execution to further business objectives
Work with Clinical Education to shape and execute KOL strategies, symposia efforts and tradeshow execution
Identify best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities
What we're looking for in you:
BA/BS required, Master's/MBA strongly preferred
Must have minimum 3-5 years' experience in downstream marketing, product launch and training efforts. Must have commercialization experience in a marketing environment.
Ability to manage product launches and commercialization experience required
Must have experience establishing and maintaining global KOL relationships
Medical device experience strongly preferred
Digital marketing experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated success collaborating as an integral cross-functional team member
Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
Clinical expertise in medical device product line or demonstrated ability to quickly develop expertise
Position requires 30% travel (including international travel)
